Message from the show producers, Arnih and Xiaozhu, and our assistant managers, Sidhya, Ilsa, Nandini, Timothy, and Eric:
We are excited to have you attend Viridescent Runway and support our cause! This is a student-lead event aimed at raising awareness for sustainable fashion especially designers and brands that commit to eco-conscious practices locally. The name, Viridescent, embodies our hope for the fashion industry as Latin for becoming green.

We set the scene at Bellevue College’s Carlson Theatre on the night of 1/7/2024 from 7-9 PM PT. Come and enjoy a theatrical, fashionable and charitable start to your new year. We will be showcasing collections generously given by Prairie Underground and Janelle Abbott in Runway style with some dramatic twists.

Dress Code: Red Carpet Formal!

Our Program

6:30-7:00 PM Come and experience a celebrity entrance into the theatre, where photographers will be taking in every moment of your “red” carpet walk.
7:00-7:15 PM Opening!
7:15-7:45 PM Witness collections from Prairie Underground
7:45-8:10 PM Entertainment! Enjoy Newport High School’s Cover and Choreography Club’s exciting performance
8:10-8:40 PM Witness collections from Janelle Abbott
8:40-8:50 PM Last collection of the day: a Collaboration between Prairie Underground and Janelle Abbott!
8:50-9:00 PM Closing! Appreciation of our Top Donators

Dress Code: Red Carpet Formal!

Donations can go through PayPal and Zelle to the account at contact@seattlela.org. Please note the payment as “donation to Viridescent Runway”. (Seattle Leadership Academy is a 501(c)3 organization and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.)

The Top 5 donators will receive gifts in gratitude of us which are worth from $200+ to $500+ in value, for more details please follow us on Facebook and Instagram at “Viridescent Runway”. Every week we will give recognition to all donators and post more about the Show, our designers, and the environmental impacts of the Fashion Industry.

For Parking at Carlson Theatre, we recommend parking lots 13 and 15. A $3 parking fee will be charged by the campus. From there, people will guide you to Viridescent Runway!
